Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Julon is to hire 45 workers before the end of the year in Ljubljana. The producer of synthetic fibres for the automotive sector located is owned by Italian group Aquafil. Due to reduced orders during the economic recession the company decreased the number of employees from 525 to 425 in 2008. The company is now investing in the production line for econyl and creating 45 new jobs before the end of 2010. The total number of employees will therefore increase to 470.
