Ethics in the digital workplace

It was reported in July 2010 that the leather manufacturer Boxmark Leather owned by Austrian firm Schmidt, had cut 386 jobs from December 2008 up to July 2010. The job losses were blamed on the reduced orders during the economic downturn. Prior to the restructuring, the company employed 1.666 people.
