Description
Slovenska sporitelna, Slovakia's biggest bank, reduced its staff by more than 700 employees over the year ending in March 2010. Dismissals were attributed to the persisting international financial crisis and followed internal restructuring of the company. Internal restructuring also included the relocation of some jobs from Bratislava to cheaper regions, for example Banská Bystrica.
