Description

Oil platform manufacturer Technip Offshore announced on 30 June 2010 that it would begin laying off 370 people at Pori, Western Finland. Unions objected to the job cuts but agreed a plan with managers that would ensure most of the dismissals are made indirectly. The plant currently employs around 800 people.
