Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 18 May 2010 industrial services group Cofely (7,500 employees) announced that they will cut 210 jobs in the remainder of this year. Some 120 jobs will be scrapped in the eastern parts of the Netherlands and 90 at the alphen aan den Rijn plant.
