European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The energy giant Scottish and Southern (SSE) announced the creation of 100 jobs in Glasgow following the collaboration of the company with Mitshubishi Heavy Industries. The two companies will collaborate on the development of low carbon technology, including offshore wind farms and carbon capture. SSE said it expected employment to rise significantly over the next five up to 1000 posts.
