European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
US medical devices multinational Merit Medical is to create 100 new jobs through an €6.7m investment in its Galway operation. The company plans to enter the European surgical pre-pack business having operated in Galway since 1994. It manufactures guidewires and inflation devices which are used in hospitals. It currently employs 250 people in Galway city.
