Description
Pharmaceutical multinational Eli Lilly has announced 100 new jobs at a new European financial services centre in Cork city. Most of the new staff are expected to be recruited before the end of March 2011. It is reported that Cork was chosen because of the availability of a skilled workforce, language ability and the presence of a strong shared services base in Ireland. Eli Lilly already employs more than 4,000 people at a manufacturing plant in nearby Kinsale in County Cork.
