Description
Last March, the Coca-Cola Company announced that it is to restructure its marketing department in Europe, reducing its workforce from 120 to 150 highly skilled employees. Information and consultation process is completed in France (20 lays off) where the company has its headquarters. The French union CFDT lamented the fact that French employees will compete with English employees for the same positions and the former will be disadvantaged because interviews will be carried out exclusively in English.
