Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Wind energy group Gamesa has announced the closure of its wind turbine blade plant at Alsasua (formerly Fiberblade, and now known as Gamesa Innovation and Technologies Alsasua, or GISA), which has 150 staff. The plant's management team informed the company's works committee that an employment regulation file covering "the full termination of activities" had been presented.
