Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 4 March 2010, the Economics and Labour Ministry of Saxony-Anhalt announced the sale of the Cochstedt airport (Magdeburg) - of all grounds and rights of operations - to the Danish company Airport Development A/S. The listed company belongs to two Danish entrepreneurs involved in logistics as well as in consulting and real estate. Airport Development owns the airports Fürstenwalde and at Neuhardenberg (both Brandenburg) and runs a logistics centre at Leipzig airport. The company said that at Magdeburg 150 jobs will be created at a new training centre for ground staff and at various transport and packaging facilities (particularly of pharmaceuticals).
