Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

Swedish local dairy producer Milko has announced that it will cut 100 jobs in northern Sweden. The company has previously cut some 200 jobs. The reason for this internal restructuring is that the dairy industry has seen increasing competitive pressure from larger foreign dairy producers with larger economies of scale and lower production costs and prices. Milko's streamlining measures are, according to the company, necessary in order to lower costs and therefore be able to compete with the larger European producers. Meanwhile, the operation is also to be centralised in and around Östersund.
