The AGBAR water supply group has announced a plan to dismiss 203 workers. This has caused work conflicts at the company and the unions are opposed to the move.
Union sources said that no agreement can be reached unless direct dismissals are avoided. They called for compliance with the agreement signed in November 2009, in which the company promised that any situation of labour surplus would be resolved by means of voluntary departues and natural wastage.
