Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Computer Sciences Corporation subsidiary CSC Baltic intends to create between 230 and 330 new jobs in Vilnius. Though the timeline of restructuring has not been clear yet, the head of the company in Eastern Europe confirmed the company's plans to expand its operations in Lithuania. The company indicated that it could increase its operations still in 2010. CSC Baltic is still in talks with Lithuanian Government with regard how to improve the investment climate. Currently the company employs 170 employees.
