European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lyondell Basell, a global manufacturer of chemicals and polymers, is to close its plant located at Terni, with the loss of 125 jobs. The sectoral trade unions have required the involvement of national and local authorities in order to avoid the closure of the industrial site. The company has more than 15,000 employees worldwide.
