Description
Car manufacturer Toyota has announced plans to cut 150 jobs from its factory in Deeside, Wales. The cuts were blamed on the 'severe economic climate' and will be implemented through voluntary means. Deputy managing director Tony Walker stated: "We had a crisis a year ago, we were able to take temporary measures but now it seems we have to be able to be efficient at lower volumes". The redundancies will begin in the summer of 2010.
