Description
The Danish company in oil and gas extraction, Maersk oil & Gas, part of the A. P. Maersk Moller Group takes two offshore installations and as a result around 400 employees from many subcontractors will lose their job. This goes especially for the offshore company, Semco Maritime, that will have to dismiss 140 employees on this account. Semco Maritime still has 350 workers in the area. The Semco Group employ around 1,400 people in Denmark especially within heating and plumbing.
