Description

The German car parts maker Brose announced the closure of its Trutnov plant with the loss of 300 jobs by March 2011. The foreign producer has decided to transfer the production of electric systems to Germany (Würzburg) and to the second Czech plant located in Kopřivnice (Moravian region). Employees will be given the opportunity to work at the Kopřivnice plant and the employer will help them with housing. The remainder of redundant workers will be receiving assistance to find another job.
