European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The shipyard STX Finland, is cutting 430 jobs in Turku Finland. The personnel negotiations started in November 2009 and are now concluded, out of the 430 jobs to be cut, 370 are blue-collar workers and 60 white-collar workers. The company has no new projects in its order books.
The job reductions will be conducted by the end of 2010.
