Description

Smurfit Kappa Rol Pin, a hardwood veneer and plywood manufacturer, will cut 74 out of 210 jobs at its plant in Labouheyre. This is due to severe international competition and decreasing demand, the company said. Trade unions called a strike against the measure. As of March 2010, there is no information on when the jobs are to be cut.
