European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Motor vehicles manufacturer Opel is to recruit 600 to 700 new people in Gliwice, in order to launch the third shift at the assembly lines. Ultimately, the number of staff hired will depend on the volume of orders for the Opel Astra IV model. The recruitment process is expected to end in mid-2010.
