European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Severn Trent Water has announced it will be making 250 job cuts; they will be from business service teams such as human resources and finance. Chief Executive Tony Wray attributed the losses to a "continual efficiency and improvement process", and the GMB union echoed his hope that the job losses could be achieved through voluntary redundancies. No details were given on numbers currently employed by the company or the date by which job losses are expected to be completed.
