European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
US-owned medical devices multinational Boston Scientific has announced up to 175 redundancies at its Galway plant. Boston Scientific Galway presently employs 3,000 staff, and 5,000 in total in Ireland. Many staff at the Galway site are employed in high-skill jobs.
