Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Gemtek, Taiwanese provider of wireless broadband products, is to create 150 new jobs with the development of a new manufacturing plant in Plzeň. The investment amounts to CZK 20 million. The plant is expected to be operational by April 2010 and employment will be completed around that time.
