As the result of the agreement between the Zollner Group and Smart Technologies 140 new jobs have been created at the Zollner's production facility in Vác (Pest county). This move will allow Smart Technologies to expand to new markets. The Zollner group, an electronic spear parts manufacturer, initiated operations in Hungary in 1988 with only 20 employees. Prior to the business expansion, the production site in Vác employed 2,008 workers. Employment at the site started in June 2009.
