UK-owned retail company Debenhams has announced 170 job losses across its Irish stores. It is understood that the company intends that most of the redundancies will be voluntary. No branches will be closing, but the company intends to reduce staff numbers across the country. Debenhams have several stores in Ireland, including four in Dublin and two in Cork. They also have branches in Limerick, Galway, Newbridge and Tralee.
