Description
Prevent, manufacturer of car seat covers based in the Koroška region is to cut 400 jobs in Slovenj Gradec and Radlje ob Dravi (in Koroška region) by September 2010. The cuts come on top of another 169 jobs the company has had to shed in 2009 (see related fact sheet 14062). The redundancies are attributed to the decline in customer orders resulting from the economic downturn affecting the car manufacturing industry.
