Description
Rimi Eesti Food, the food retail company, created 182 new jobs in 2009 in Estonia. In November 2009, the company announced the opening of its fourth store in Estonia which raised the number of jobs created in 2009 to 182. Earlier in 2009 new stores have been opened in Märjamaa (opened in February, 10 jobs), Valga (April, 22 jobs), Võru (June, 26 jobs) and in November in Tartu with 124 new jobs.
Rimi Eesti Food is the subsidiary of the Swedish Rimi Baltic AB, which is consolidated into the ICA Group from January 2007. Rimi Baltic AB has a total of 241 stores in the three Baltic States of which 77 are located in Estonia.
