Description
Derbyshire Police announced plans to cut 100 jobs since government grants are expected to be reduced. The force needs to save £13m and therefore policing divisions are to be reduced from four to three, with cuts to the numbers of senior and administrative posts and some vacant posts suspended. Many of the posts to go are currently vacant and others would be lost through natural wastage in order to minimise actual redundancies.
