European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) plans to lay off 100 employees (administrative staff) by outsourcing parts of the accounting to the consultancy firm Accenture in Calcutta, India. This will allow the airline to save SEK 60mn (EUR 5.97mn USD 8.56mn) annually.
