European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Maflow is to close its plant located in Trezzano sul Naviglio, with the consequent loss of 350 jobs. On May 2009, due to its debts, Maflow Italy was declared in state of insolvency. On July, the Italian Court declared the opening of the ‘Amministrazione Straordinaria' for the company. Up to now, any subject has been declared interested in buying the company, and consequently, the collective dismissals for the workers employed in the Trezzano's plant become higher and higher. Maflow manufactures air-conditioned systems for automotive sector.
