Industrial automation company Bosch Rexroth is closing down its factory in Vagnhärad, Sweden due to a weak market and few orders as a consequence of the recession. The plant will eventually be entirely closed down and the entire work force of 225 employees will lose their jobs as a result. Bosch Rexroth plans to gradually move the activities from the unit in Vagnhärad during the next two years, with the aim to be finished by the end of 2011.
Bosch Rexroth manufactures products and systems within the control and motion of industrial and mobile equipment. Its headquarters are in Germany, and it has units in nine different places in Sweden.
