European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Europastry, pre-baked bread and ultra-frozen pastries manufacturer, is investing a total of 130 million euro at its plant in Rubí (Barcelona) in order to expand production of all its business lines. The leading company in the Spanish market, with a market share of 35% in frozen dough, is finalising its investment budget for the coming year; this could reach 40 million. The capacity for this product is 20,000 tonnes a year and will result in the creation of 100 jobs. In addition, the company has built a cold store with capacity for 20,000 pallets.
