Description
SR Technics, a provider of technical solutions for airlines, will open an aircraft maintenance plant in Luqa - Malta and plans to employ 350 persons by 2014.The new investment was announced by the Prime Minister and the Minister of Finance and will initially use an existing hangar at Luqa airport before building its own facilities. The first aircraft will be received in the second half of next year and the major low-cost airline EasyJet will be amongst the biggest clients. 157 Easy Jet air crafts are due to be serviced in this facility.
