Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

The French nickel mining company Société Le Nickel will cut 285 jobs. This is part of a cost-cutting plan that aims at reducing annual costs by €90 million by 2012. The company said that it will avoid direct dismissals.
56% of the company is owned by Eramet. Société Le Nickel currently employs 2385 people.
