Description
Honda has announced that it is to cut a further 500 posts at its Swindon factory. The move comes months after workers accepted a pay reduction to safeguard their future. The trade union Unite said that staff were angry at the companies decision as workers had already accepted pay cuts, 1300 job losses and a two month plant closure. The union is seeking to have the pay cut reversed as it was agreed in an attempt to safeguard 500 jobs. No details were given on the expected date of the job losses
