Description
The French car part manufacturer Rieter is to close its site in Rémy and to cut 215 jobs by the end of 2010. Social partners have been informed, the company's management said. If possible, employees are encouraged to leave on a voluntary basis.
Rieter Automotive France produces and sells weather and noise insulation. The company currently employs 1150 people in France. Sites in other countries were also affected by restructuring (see related factsheet
