The Danish manufacturer of aluminium and wooden windows Velfac is to close one of its two factories in Ringkøbing where 135 employees will be made redundant. 35 employees will be transferred to the other and larger factory in Ringkøbing. Velfac has several retail sales in Denmark and had before laid off around 759 employees in Denmark (Velfac.dk: 2008).
