Description

Volvo Trucks is to create 130 jobs in Umea in lacquering of plastic car components. This activity was previously carried out by a company in Belgium. Already 50 new jobs have been created in Umea and the relocation will be completed in March 2010.

Volvo Trucks has announced a number of restructuring plans over the last year; this is the first case of business expansion since the beginning of the recession.  See related fact sheets - 11990 and 11727.
