European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Manufacturing firm GKN Aerospace is to cut 135 jobs at its Yeovil site. The cuts represent over a third of jobs on the site. Management at the site have announced that some workers will be offered redeployment, and the company is engaging with trade union Unite about redeployment options. No dates have been announced for when the cuts will take place, but a 90-day consultation period has begun.
