European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Czech vehicle manufacturer Tatra has announced further restructuring measures that will result in the reduction of 850 jobs out of 3,000 jobs at the Kopřivnice plant by the end of 2009. This is due to a sharp decline in orders. The local trade union wants to save maximum jobs possible.
