Description
On 1 October 2009, Crystalite Bohemia, the new owner of Sklo Bohemia, announced the creation of up to 174 jobs as of November 2009. From a subsequent announcement dated 24 November 2009 it became clear that the company had created 200 jobs since October. Also, in the November announcement the company reported the creation of 50 additional jobs with the opening of the second glass furnace at the beginning of December 2009. Sklo Bohemia went bankrupt in September 2008 (see fact sheet No 11701).
