European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Headquarted in Stráž pod Ralskem, DIAMO - a state enterprise active in the field of land regeneration after logging operations - has announced 300 job losses, starting in January 2009. The last 60 notices were given at the end of September 2009. Public subsidies have been cut considerably. According to the CEO, another 800 workers are at risk of losing their jobs if no financial injection is available.
