European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Mahle, one of Germany's leading manufacturers of automotive components, has announced the reduction of 120 jobs out of its 420 employees in its manufacturing operations unit in Ingersheim between 2010 and 2011.
Mahle manufactures for PSA Peugeot-Citroën, Audi and Volkswagen. The reduction is justified by a significant slowdown in revenue. The company's management and the present trade unions have reached an agreement.
