Description
Lira, the biggest European custom frames producer, had to cut 107 jobs out of 347 in the period between January and June 2009 due to the global economic crisis. Redundant workers were given from 4 to 6 monthly wages as a compensation. About 80 percent of company's production is exported abroad, especially to the USA.
