Description

Akzo Nobel announced 153 redundancies from the closing of their MCA-unit in Skoghall, and will move the manufacturing of paints, coatings, and specialty chemicals to their factory in Delfzijl. 80 blue-collars and 73 white-collar workers will be affected. The production will stop 17 March 2010 and no one will have to leave the company before that. The last employees will leave the company in March 2011. Nobel has 60,000 employees based in 80 countries.
