Fazer, which provides meals, bakery products, and confectioneries, will layoff 250 workers in the group's Finnish, Swedish, Russian, and Baltic departments. The restructuring is the result of the company's effort to become more efficient by creating new operative models and dismantling overlaps in business operations. The layoffs will affect white-collars and upper white collar workers. Negotiations will begin in the near future with the personnel whom the change will affect.
