Description
Derby City Council has announced plans to cut 465 full-time jobs in an effort to save £32m over the next three years. The announcement comes after a 20-week review of all areas of council work, excluding schools. The cuts represent 10% of the workforce under review and are expected to address part of the forecasted funding shortfalls. The Council hopes that most of the redundancies will be implemented through natural wastage.
