127 workers are expected to be dismissed in Lidköping as the result of the bankruptcy of Mastec LPI, a plastics manufacturer. The reason is decreasing orders. There has been an interest from more than one company to buy Mastec in Lidköping. The most of the employees are still working as they wait for further information. The company is a subsidiary to the automotive industry. The company is working on solutions to restart the business, but at the present it is not yet clear that any of the jobs can be rescued in Lidköping.
