European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Ukrainian-owned steel plant, Vorskla Steel in Frederiksværk northern Zeeland, has gone bankrupt. Three lawyers from the Hillerød municipality informed the 160 employees Monday morning, 17 August 2009, about the bankruptcy. The employees have not received their wage for July and the lawyers recommended that the employees apply to the Employees' Guarantee Fund to cover the loss.
